New Year? Already?
Any, and all, of us are just one decision away from a radically different life than the one we are living. It hardly matters what area of life you consider--we are either a) uninterested, b) interested, or c) all in. Thats true of your resolution to lose weight and exercise, your plan to really crack the books this semester, or your goal of rearranging your schedule in order to have more time with family and friends. We know all about this from the mixed results our resolutions have yielded in the past. What about our faith in God and our desire to live more and more like Jesus every day? Are we bored or uninterested; interested but preoccupied; or are we all in, fully surrendered to Gods purpose for our lives? Over the next several weeks your St. Andrew pastors will be exploring what it means to be All In in our relationship to Jesus Christ. They will focus on letting go of lesser priorities and describing what a God-first lifestyle looks like. (Permalink)
